NON-STOP LEARNING FROM JESUS

Be encouraged. The millennia-long trajectory of calling disciples to corporately follow Jesus continues unabated. This month in Assam, Northeast India two new Tyrannus Halls were opened: the Sonapur Tyrannus Hall and the Diphu Tyrannus Hall. The Sonapur Tyrannus Hall is actually the re-opening and relocation of the Guwahati Tyrannus Hall that closed at the start of COVID. The Diphu Tyrannus Hall is a brand-new Hall.

Dr. Aby Alexandar, Secretary of the Tyrannus Hall Educational Trust, sends the following reports and photos…

August 8,2025 – “Blessed to witness the relaunch of the Guwahati Tyrannus in Sonapur.”

August 9, 2025 – “Another blessed Day. One more hall is added to the Tyrannus & Lydia Family. Diphu Tyrannus Hall. May God bless Karbi Anglong Baptist Convention, as they begin this discipleship ministry. We were so thrilled to hear that one of the Pune Tyrannus Hall Alumni (who belong to the community) provided a significant financial support in renovating an old building which will now be used as Tyrannus Hall. God be the Glory.”

And six weeks from now, Julie and I will have the opportunity to be at the re-opening of the Olomouc Lydia Hall in the Czech Republic. Photos of that re-opening to come.

These young men and women around the world have chosen to live together in a small community designed to help them better follow Jesus, becoming like Him in the process. They challenge us to ask ourselves how we are going about following Jesus. Do we have a similarly deep and transparent relationship with another devoted follower of Jesus (or two or three others) with whom we have committed to grow deeper into all the Kingdom realities our God has prepared for us? Learning from Jesus and transformation into His image with others is a lifelong process. What was something new that you learned from Jesus today that you can’t wait to share with someone else?
